I have too much on my plate right now – there, I said it. Excluding real life commitments (of which I have more than usual) I am currently involved in the following WoW projects:
- This blog
- Stats analysis project with Stede (which I’m hoping will springboard into me fleshing out the GIR some more)
- Co-developing an addon
- Inflation project
- Developing a free, API based, AH notification system
That said, I would still like to be able to post more frequently than I have been, so I’m wondering about different ways of doing so. Based on the quantity and nature of the various projects I’m involved in, I’ve considered a TUJ type of Dev blog, to chart my journey through this mess of data. However, Stede recently started up a new blogging venture (no pun intended) called The Revenge that is more or less a weekly roundup of other blog posts and his take on them. I’ve thought about something like that as well. I’ve never been great about commenting on other people’s blogs, so I’m hoping this might help that. Comments aren’t always the most effective place for having on-going discussion, but I’m hoping that since the blog-o-sphere has been rather quiet lately, a few of us might be able to banter back and forth a bit to keep the information fresh and relevant.
So, if you have an opinion/thought on the matter, leave a comment. Or, if you’ve got a blog I might not already be reading and you don’t mind a little scrutiny, post the link and I’ll be sure to check it out. Otherwise, I’ll just start with the ones already in my RSS reader and on my blogroll. This also means I’ll be periodically updating the blogroll and trimming out inactive ones. Let me know what you think.
